    Family style portions and tasty dishes. The lassi was super creamy. The biriyani, chicken tikka masala, chicken vindaloo, and garlic naan were excellent.

    I loved our meal. We ordered too much food. We got the mixed veg sampler. It was amazing. The potato's in the samosas were perfect. We got Chana saag which was super garlicky and delicious, my wife got navratan korma which was creamy and also very good. We also got a few breads to try which were all amazing. I also tried a masala chai which was wonderful. Service was great. The restaurant isn't fancy but it was clean. I enjoyed my meal as much as any Indian food I've ever had.

    This review is long overdue. First, I believe what sets Chaat apart is the freshness of their spices especially in comparison to similar establishments. You can actually taste them. Love that. Second, they have the best butter chicken in town. Although I haven't been to every spot of the kind around Sac, why venture out when I know this place consistently delivers in flavor? My other go-to is the lamb curry which is also very good but it's really about the butter chicken. I love their vegetable samosas as well. Always perfectly crispy (whether I pick up or get DoorDash) and finished with a healthy sprinkle of their salt/spice blend. I need to try more things from their menu, including the array of sweets, but have been ordering my usual favorites each time. I do think their "hot" can be hotter but this might be the result of adapting to local tastes. I might just need to push harder for ACTUALLY hot when I order from them. I tried to do so the last time I was there in person but the uncle at the counter didn't take me seriously. Lol Good quality, good value and flavorful. Highly recommended!

    What a wonderful hidden gem. Food was flavorful, extremely fresh, and super tasty. Lots of different food options for the buffet and the garlic Naan bread was freshly made to order. The restaurant was very clean and the table was not sticky which is a huge plus for me. The place / air did not feel stuffy at all. The staff were extremely attentive and very accommodating. They really made my experience top notch Definitely going back
